“So, I went downtown to see/
How much is the 30-inch dookie…”
That line has provided me with literally hours of amusement over the course of my lifetime. I love King Tee. The first three albums (Act a Fool, At Your Own Risk, and Tha Triflin’ Album) are certified classics. Someday I’ll make a mixtape with all the now-unheard gangster goldies–King Tee, Low Profile, Above The Law, CPO, etc.–it’s gonna be major. I’m getting excited just thinking about it.
king t is the truth… one of the few west coast artists i dug back in the day… probably because it sounds just like run-dmc.
what about l.a. breeze.? remember him? hah
dj has some killer moves… wish me a happy birthday fuckers.
yo if that whole setup was working that would definitely rattle the bones out of peoples flesh. tight joint.
Much like Grip Grandé, I have gotten many many hours of amusement from various King T wisdom, mostly from the song “Act a fool”
“Now I’m feelin’ tipsy and I’m headed for Watts.” (we’ve all been there)
“If you wanna roll just wear neutral colors/if anybody asks you, just tell em’ you’re my brother.” (how many times have I worn neutral colors to an event?-literally dozens-ish)
“This girl wanted to dance, but I told ho nope, cuz she was on my dick cuz of my fat gold rope.” (again, dozens of times, they love-a the rope chains.)
Something to say?
Fun Fact….E 40 also murked this beat on “Fedex”
