Well, this is just fucking pathetic. Last week’s list was short, but this week’s isn’t even a list. It’s a single item. Trinity #3. And given how mediocre this title’s been so far, I don’t have high expectations. Maybe God is telling me I’m too old for comics…at least in a weekly format. Trade paperbacks seem more mature, somehow. It’s almost a real book! Whatever. I’ve been reading The Count of Monte Cristo for the past month or so (it’s over a thousand pages, so gimme a break), which is waaay more exciting and twist-filled than any comic I’ve read in a long while (well, Walking Dead is pretty great). But I guess that’s why it’s one of the most famous novels of all time, and people are still reading it 150 years after Dumas wrote it. I’m guessing no one will be reading Trinity next year, let alone in 2158. But I’ve been wrong before. I think.

Anyway, we get a couple good books in a week or two, so it’s time to start holding my breath. Hope I don’t pass out. Until then…

Keep it bagged and boarded,

Grip

Are you gonna see Hulk?

I can’t tell the difference between the sucky old Hulk movie and this new one (other than Edward Norton is in it…I prefer Eric Bana, just in general)–I’m waiting for some reviews. i think they made a mistake with the digi-Hulk, though. I find it hard to empathize with a string of ones and zeros. Besides, no one has ever been able to prove to me that the Hulk was cool…he doesn’t do much other than smash.

Something to say?
