Busta Rhymes is disrespectful right now

Posted by MF Shalem on July 31st, 2008

Where’s My Fuckin Money?

Busta is killing it right now. Don’t Touch me and the remix are both crazy. The “I Got Bass” track is also on repeat in my car.

Rico, - the “where’s my fuckin’ money” track sort of reminds me of “Gimmie All Dat Shit” by RC©2009, you feel?

Here’s my idea for routinefly keeping me interested at work, let’s all do at least one post a week. obviously it would be better to do more, but if at least one person did one a week (I’ll do one every Monday, Richie does one every Tues, Rob does Wed. etc…) That way there will at least be something new to look at every day. It doesn’t matter if the posts aren’t “good” either.

No Wonder In: The Couch Tour 2008

Posted by No Wonder on July 25th, 2008

Here’s the deal. Over the next month I will be profiling the various couches I sleep on. Why you ask? Well I feel like it’s important to know your friends. The Couch Tour 2008 will be an adventure; one of mystery, joy, shock and disgust. I’ve begun the trail runs in preperation and so far I’ve been amazed at what I’ve learned about my friends. So be ready..be prepared. I may show up and pull the friend card on you and sleep on your couch. Check out my rating system after the jump.

Grip’s Pull List for 07-23-08

Posted by Grip Grand on July 22nd, 2008

Comics are off the hook, son! I know they have their ups and downs from week to week, and I haven’t been as deep in the stacks as I’d like to be lately (too busy getting my new bootleg mixtape up on this very website)…but all said, it’s a good time for colored paper. So let’s get to this week’s list, shall we? We shall.

Grip Grand German Interview

Posted by Grip Grand on July 21st, 2008

Recently, I had the honor of being interviewed by German website www.rap4fame.de (whose logo is only partially pictured here)…and for those of you gifted enough to sprechen zie deutsche (which is totally not how you say that in this case), here’s a link:

Grip Grand Interview at Rap4Fame (German)

But if, like me, you don’t speak the father-tongue, then here’s a handy version for your ignorant, English-only-speaking ass. No pretty pictures, but let’s face it…they weren’t improving things.

Posted by Rob Rush on July 16th, 2008

Seems only fitting that after the rapper talk and the producer talk we go here….

Best hip hop albums of all time!!!!! This has gotta be based on beats AND raps.. like, what did you listen to for 2 years straight from the day it came out and will still listen to and enjoy. None of this influence crap, i’m talkin music that is the best. Up top are my picks in chronological order because ranking is too hard and infinitely debatable… let the games begin!!

Grip’s Pull List for 07-16-08

Posted by Grip Grand on July 14th, 2008

Hey there. How are you? Good, I’m so glad to hear that. I missed you last week. I know, I know…we don’t see enough of each other as it is. But I had to go out of town on business. I’m sure you understand. You don’t? Oh, you’re just being coy. You do understand, I knew you would! But enough of these pleasantries. I know why you’re here. Let’s talk about what I have in my bag, shall we? Look inside, my pretty. Look at all the beautiful things. Such lovely little things. That’s right, come closer. Just a bit closer. There, there.

Greatest Producers (You started it Grip)

Posted by MF Shalem on July 11th, 2008

Responsible for your favorite music

After Grip’s post about the Greatest Emcees I figured it’s only right that we dedicate a post to the producers.

Who gives a shit about rappers anymore? Really? Would that song have been different if Jay was on it as opposed to Wayne? Admit it, you only listen to the beat. That’s why there is a million (mille, no pun intended) “remixes” where everyone raps over the latest/hottest beat. (you win bangladesh)
