Aw, yeah, again and again! The Rec-League All-Stars are back with another Chart Topper. Since most of the pop charts are now dominated by songs we’ve already covered (see previous posts in this series), this week we turn our attention to the Billboard R & B charts!

Holding steady at number one is Lauryn Hill emulator and dancehall-lite queen Jazmine Sullivan, with her Missy-produced single Need U Bad. And, as we do each week, we’ve removed all traces of the lovely Miss Sullivan and replaced her sultry sound with the rough and ready vocal stylings of your very own Rec-League. This week’s Chart Topper finds series regular Grip Grand joined by fellow slugger Richie Cunning (in his Chart Toppers debut). I love these, and agree with Sha; my kids complain that you took out the wack singsong shit. if you leave in a little of the chorus you’ll be hearing this coming out of every car from here to Kingston.

REVISION!

- Love Lockdown might actually be hot. I was basing my comments on what okayplayer says was the “demo” version. New version makes more sense to me. Still does not seem like something that would be that fun to rap on.
