So… word on the street is that The Saurus took home the gold for Cali once again at Scribble Jam. Big ups to the tour-mate and long time Bay Area homie The Saurus for doing what he does best and rappin’ his way to the top.

So heres the unofficial (but pretty official) video for my song “The City”. Filmed, edited and directed by the homie Matt Strauss. From what he tells me, it’s set to air on the Warriors Roundtable pregame show on both the 27th and the 29th (opening night) of this month. Big thanks to Matt for making this happen.

P.S. Rumor has it that this won’t be the Rec’s only appearance on the Warriors Roundtable this season…

The week this album came out on cassette, I had to make the tough decision between this or De La Soul Is Dead…I copped Mr. Hood, and I have not once regretted it since. Besides, my man MPE got that De La…so it was win/win. I spent a summer in Albuquerque once, and all I had was this tape and One For All (maybe I bought the first Cypress Hill when I was there). You know what? That was enough. And now, back to our show.
