Grip’s Pull List for 10-15-08
Sure it’s hella old, but if you like comics and you like hip-hop, you like this video. And I bet you didn’t already watch it today. So stop complaining.
I am over it this week. Burnt out from recording, barely had a chance to read last week’s books yet, et cetera…but here I am anyway. I do it all for you. Let’s make this quick, shall we?
Mighty Avengers #19: Another Secret Invasion tie-in whose timeline probably pre-dates Secret Invasion itself. Is anyone else starting to get sick of this? I mean, it’s cool and all, but I want my books to move forward while looking backward. Is that too much to ask? Maybe it is…maybe it is.
Ultimate Origins #5: This story’s almost over. Soon comes Ultimatum. Heads are gonna roll.
Greatest Hits #2: Well, I wasn’t bowled over by the first issue of this hitman-supergroup book, but I’ll give it another go-round anyway. Let’s hope it evens out. The art on the inside didn’t live up to the cover, last week, but the concept was OK. We’ll see…
And…that’s it. There’s a couple of Final Crisis tie-ins I might flip through on the stands, but nothing worth posting (well, the Red Lanterns one looks pretty cool). So until next week, keep stuffin’ those long boxes (yuck…that sounds truly awful).
Bagged and boarded,
Grip

The video is so fresh. And the song? Worth untold millions. You can call me your majesty.
