Yeah, I’m here again. Where have I been? Handling urgent business. I know you all missed me and my self-absorbed personal-taste blog. But we’re both back and in semi-full effect. So put on your party hat and get ready to rock. The show starts now.

The picture above is a tribute to the recent release of Grant Morrison’s Batman R.I.P. hardcover. I copped it on its birthday, but I haven’t read it yet. However, Morrison’s whole run has been great, and fans of the Dark Knight would do well find out what he’s been up to lately. Good times.

Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk #2: This is the second printing of a book I didn’t read the first time around (which was a really long time ago). So bully for me. In recent weeks, I grabbed the first-issue reprint, and it was pretty tight. Any book that begins with Wolverine ripped in half gets my three bucks, no probby. Plus, I am a big fan of Leinil Yu’s highly stylized artwork. So join me and check out issue number 2 if you missed it way back when.

Dark Avengers #2: Norman Osborn. Can’t live with him, can’t kill him dead (at least not permanently). The old Green Goblin needs to be taken down a peg, but right now he’s sitting on top of the world, running everything that Tony Stark once controlled and more. This misfit Avengers team of his is a little weak (they’re no Thunderbolts, for instance), but I bet they wreak some havoc in the Marvel U. before the Good Guys bring ‘em down hard. Here’s hoping.

Weeeelllllllll, I guess that’s it for this week. Better stash the funny books and get back to making music. I hardly have time to read these things anymore. Really, I do it all for you.
