Black Cut – Death to Tyrants & DJ MF Shalem

available now on itunes…This is an album I made a couple years ago. Death to Tyrants is(was) a local rock band. They put out an album called “Cast & Camber” which was live recordings of a tour they did all along the east coast. I remixed the entire album, sampled, chopped, added scratches, added drums (my specialty if I do say so myself…and I do), and basically made my studio version of the album.

I showed my album to the guys in the band and they all loved it, we had planned to press up cds but it wasn’t meant to be…the band broke up. I had planned to press up cds eventually but seeing as how no one actually buys cds anymore, it is now available digitally.

This is NOT rap music. I labeled it “alternative”, I think that fits. This has been my only experiment not making rap music. I like how it came out and plan on making more music along these lines eventually, but for now I have too much fun making rap.
