Everything is Great w/ J.T. – Playoffs!
It’s that time again! Two whole months of playoff basketball… and honestly, I’m not really that excited.
The picture out west is not interesting at all… I pretty much looks to be a cakewalk for the Lakers, especially with Bynum back in the lineup. And because of Garnett going down (and how bout Ainge having a heart attack over it, wow), the Cavs won’t have any trouble either. Orlando is a tough team, but they can’t hang in a seven game series with Cleveland.
So we all get what we want (except Shalem, haha): Lakers/Cavs… Kobe/Lebron… Present/Future… that’ll be tight. But until the first week in June, I really don’t care much. Just give me what I want to see.

L.A. is just too big, strong, and deep for anyone in the league. It’s not about Kobe vs. Lebron, it’s about all the other Lakers vs. all the other Cavs, and the Lakers are just far superior… It’s not even a arguement. So, yeah, I’m excited to have the Lakers back in the rightful place, back on top, but getting there is gonna be kinda boring.

Lakers all the way. Kareem had a great year–I think he’ll get MVP (quite an accomplishment for a guy who’s almost 40). With Magic and James Worthy beside him the team is unstoppable. Michael Cooper is a real threat from the 3-point line…and don’t underestimate Kurt Rambis. All in all, I’d say 1984 is gonna be a big year for the purple and gold.

I actually think the Lakers will have a SLIGHTLY tougher time than people think. Both the Rockets and Nuggets present match-up issues. Bynum ain’t ready for Yao and both Artest and Battier have proven that they can shut Kobe down for stretches. Just tough to have faith in the Rockets given there history.
Billups will abuse any Laker point guard, problem is the Nuggets have nobody on their squad with a prayer of guarding Kobe.
Lakers/Cavs is gonna be a fucking fun series. Too many Euro big men though.

JT you make me wana throw up. I hope Carlos Boozer straps a bomb to his chest before the next game and both teams are destroyed! Fuck LA, Utah, Boston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Go everyone else! Upsets are so much better than watching a bunch of fucking idiots winning year after year.

you seem angry, Bob… you wanna talk about it big guy? hmmm? need to let something out, do ya? hmm? it’ll be alright, pal… I know your most miserable part of the sporting year just started (Giants’ baseball), but there’s no need to take it out on the rest of the world… the superior, winning world (L.A. sports)… just pat yourself on the back and say, “it’s okay, Bobby boy, there’s always next year.” It’s comforting, isn’t it… yeah… that’s better.
