Hi, Haters, My Blog’s On Hiatus
Few things are more self-indulgent than a blog about itself. It’s like a taking a champagne bubble bath in a mirrored ballroom. But I wanted the world to know that, while Grip’s Pull List and Yo!Tube (my regular weekly blogs) have been off-the-air in recent weeks, it doesn’t mean that I love you any less. In fact, it means that I love you more.
In response to your decided lack of interest in comic books and classic rap videos, I’ve chosen to discontinue my regular columns and instead find something else to focus on (plus, I’ve been hella busy recording, so sue me). I’m open to suggestions (Recipes? Record reviews? Tips on why your beats suck?)…so if there’s some topic you’re just dying to hear my opinion on every week, lemme know. I assume there isn’t, and until I hear from you, maybe I’ll just keep my mouth shut. Besides, the removal of my ramblings will serve to focus more attention on the musical antics of your very own Rec-League All-Stars, and that’s what we’re all here for anyway. Sure, this means that some weeks on Routine Fly will be virtually post-free. Well, you can’t have it both ways, America. Love it or leave it.
That’s my spiel. Thanks for indulging me. The lines are open, and we’re accepting your calls now. 1-800-NEW-BLOG. Holler with your suggestions.

I’m all for grip working on music instead of blogging, but i will miss the comic blog. Me and two other people, the thing about no responses in your posts… i don’t think very many people visit this blog. maybe 20 people? of which less than 10 post any responses. anyway… as far as requests, i am most interested in the behind the scenes stuff related to music. studio shit, recording. show stories, dealing with “industry” people, anything related to the rap game. on a personal level. the shit you think about when writing new songs. current music you are listening to, inspirations, why richie rarely emails me back, how rob pays his rent, why haji and proe won’t post, how sayre is going to corner the market, will kanye make a rap record again, when will we hear a full album of just blaze beats, why my expectations for wolverine are high, how to make 800 a month off rap without leaving the house, when will grip and proe make a facebook page and say “wow that was easier than I thought”, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh dinner

Well if comic books are no longer on the wall then I pick recipes for 200 Alex. Its not common knowledge but Gabe is actually a damn fine budget chef and I’d love some new recipes. I mean no damn B drinking 40s.
But for now Iam just going to ignore the subject of this post and speak on the Wolverine flick like none of this is happening.
What the F you guys haven’t watch it yet? It took about 3 hours to download when it leaked and outside of the lack of fully rendered CG in a few scenes (which is fun to watch) it was dvd quality sound and video. As for the movie…

I would never download a movie and watch it on my laptop (watching it for the first time). That takes away from the whole experience. That’s a movie that’s begging for Imax, so being as you watched an unfinished movie prematurely I will raise your “pretty good” to a “great” and continue my anticipation for the movie.
